The existing President of the United States, was, to a large degree, elected, not because he articulated viable solutions, but, rather, due to his combination of promises, rhetoric, personality, and vitriol. Donald Trump demonstrated, and has continued to demonstrate, whether one supports or opposes him, he's a fighter. The ultimate dilemma, and challenge, however, is how that behavior is exhibited and manifested, and the potential ramifications, of his reliance of being oppositional, rather than unifying, and often, resorting to a combination of lying, blaming and complaining, often without providing any viable solutions, for the better.
